Farnborough Airfield has been home to the Farnborough Airshow since 1948, when it opened its gates to the public for the first time.
The 2008 show will be the 60th anniversary so that it was fitting that iaviation's debut coincided with this landmark.
We joined the 1,500 exhibiting companies from 35 countries at the show in Hall 4, Stand E13 in July 2008.
